PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Conducts landscape upkeep and maintenance services
  • Mows lawns and executes general gardening and landscaping activities
  • Oversees the irrigation systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Provides cleaning support services to personnel
  • Maintains and cleans tools and equipment to ensure longevity
  • Collects waste, moves materials to disposal locations, and sorts recyclable items
  • Sanitizes and replenishes restroom supplies
  • Sets up and dismantles equipment and furnishings for events as required
  • Identifies and reports mechanical issues
  • Recognizes and eliminates potential safety risks
  • Alerts authorities to any unauthorized access on the premises
  • Maintains the interior of buildings by dusting, polishing surfaces, cleaning mirrors, fixtures, and windows, as well as washing counters, walls, and woodwork
  • Performs floor cleaning tasks including sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
  • Engages in general sanitation and disinfection using approved cleaning agents and tools
  • Responsible for additional tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant experience in a similar role is beneficial.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Proficient in operating grounds maintenance equipment
  • Knowledge of safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials, along with compliance with OSHA safety standards
  • Basic mechanical repair skills for minor equipment issues
  • Self-driven with a commitment to completing tasks promptly
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of background checks and safety training as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role may require extended periods of sitting and standing, as well as bending, crawling, and stretching. The employee may need to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds and may be required to climb ladders. Exposure to various temperatures, fumes, and machinery requiring caution is anticipated.
