Position Overview

The Corporate Consolidations Accountant will report directly to the Corporate Consolidations Controller. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of cash balances and facilitating month-end close processes for the parent company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and record journal entries, including recurring monthly entries, cash transactions, reclassifications, and other entries as directed.
  • Maintain daily cash reconciliations and prepare month-end bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post customer and intercompany billings, reviewing and recording cash receipts.
  • Execute ACH and wire transfers for accounts payable and payroll funding.
  • Reconcile marketing event costs and prepare related intercompany entries.
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support the Corporate VP with consolidation entries and reporting.
  • Assist in the research and resolution of inquiries.
  • Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting is required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP is essential, including ASC 805 and ASC 810.
  • Prior experience in corporate consolidations and intercompany reconciliations is preferred.
  • Experience in the Commercial Real Estate or Property Management sector is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Yardi and/or Workday accounting software is a plus.
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit high attention to detail while managing substantial financial data.
  • Willingness to collaborate in a productive team environment and share information appropriately.
