We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at McCormack Baron Companies. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of maintenance, janitorial, and grounds staff, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate and supervise the performance of maintenance-related repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, appliance, electrical, painting, installation of windows, drywall repairs, and other typical apartment repairs.
- Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance, janitorial, and grounds staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance and compliance, ensuring that all maintenance work is completed to the highest standards.
- Budgeting and Inventory: Assist in the development of budgets and maintain inventory levels of parts and equipment.
- Preventative Maintenance: Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and control expenses, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards of quality.
- Quality Control: Monitor maintenance operating procedures and performance standards, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Communication: Act as a liaison for the Property Manager and/or Area Manager with respect to resident complaints, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Education and Experience: HVAC certification required; experience working at an apartment community in the maintenance field.
- Skills and Abilities: Dependability and reliability in following through with responsibilities; maintain a valid state driver's license and current insurance; provide own tools.
- Personal Qualities: Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships; demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation, and organization when accomplishing tasks.
