Job Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality computed tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas in accordance with established practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, family members, physicians, and colleagues
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Operate and maintain computed tomography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers
  • Current licensure through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in CT or must obtain advanced certification through ARRT within 12 months of hire date
  • Current state licensure or permit to practice medical imagining
  • Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills and critical thinking
  • Certification: BLS and ARRT must be maintained throughout employment with Terre Haute Regional Hospital
