Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategy: Drive the execution of Securitas Electronic Security Inc.'s sustainability strategy globally, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Ensure Country and Business Unit Alignment: Work with country and business unit leaders to establish roadmaps and action plans that support the company's sustainability strategy.
  • Establish Monitoring and Reporting Processes: Develop and implement structures and processes to track the execution of roadmaps and action plans, and report on progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the group-wide Sustainability team, as well as other cross-functional teams, to advance the company's sustainability efforts and focus areas.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and supplier-facing teams on sustainability-related matters, and work with commercial teams to market the company's sustainability efforts.
  • Support Sustainability Reporting: Collaborate with the country sustainability reporting specialist to ensure high-quality data and reporting, and provide strategic support for the company's sustainability reporting efforts.
  • Provide Guidance and Support: Offer guidance and strategic support to business functions on sustainability-related matters, including social impact, carbon footprint, energy consumption, waste reduction, and sustainability governance.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that relevant stakeholders have access to necessary information to comply with sustainability regulations, guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Stay current on industry trends, market requirements, regulations, and best practices, and proactively recommend solutions to support the company's sustainability efforts.
  • Manage Document Register: Manage the core document register, including tracking reviews and updates of policies and procedures, and ensuring timely publication of approved documents.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG-related areas and sustainability.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A passion for sustainability and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the environment and society.
  • Strategic Execution Skills: Strong strategic execution skills, with the ability to work in a structured way with clear plans and targets.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire engagement and action in a regional organization and with external stakeholders.
  • High-Level Integrity: A high level of integrity, with the ability to work as a team player, think creatively, and demonstrate vision.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, including the ability to focus on details and see the larger picture.
  • Sustainability Knowledge: Knowledge of and interest in sustainability reporting regulations and frameworks.
  • Education: A BS degree in Sustainability or a related field is recommended.
