Job Summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a skilled Orthopedic Technician to join our team. As a member of our orthopedic team, you will be responsible for providing patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients and perform patient screening
  • Assist with patient procedures and implement treatment plans
  • Provide follow-up care and support to patients
  • Perform associated clerical tasks, including chart preparation and stocking clinic supplies
  • Assist with daily clinic operations and flow

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Eligibility to sit for the Certified Orthopedic Technologist exam or Registered Orthopedic Technologist examination
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification
  • Current Medical Assistant-Certified or Interim Certification by Washington Department of Health (DOH)

Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of orthopedic experience
  • Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care, or Medical screening and immunization
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification

This compensation range is specific to Seattle, positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
