Role Summary:

We are in search of an Information Security Consultant to enhance our Federal division. This position requires a strong blend of business insight and technical proficiency. The consultant will evaluate compliance and risk across various projects for major organizations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive information security risk assessments, compliance audits, and remediation strategies.
  • Engage in projects focusing on frameworks such as CMMC, FedRAMP, StateRAMP, and NIST 800-53.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to articulate technical requirements and process enhancements.
  • Assist in crafting tailored policies, procedures, controls, and disaster recovery strategies for systems and applications.
  • Develop internal methodologies to elevate the maturity of the Federal practice.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of IT security and relevant frameworks (e.g., CMMC, FedRAMP, NIST 800-30, 800-53, PCI DSS).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • CISSP Certification is mandatory.
  • Possession of at least one advanced cybersecurity certification (e.g., CASP+, GCED, GCIH, CCSP).
  • Minimum of 4 years in information security, IT, enterprise risk, or compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with CMMC, FedRAMP, and NIST audits.
  • Familiarity with security architecture and systems design.
  • Proficient in IT security concepts including firewall management, server management, and access control.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to connect with clients and colleagues across technical and business domains.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong writing skills for executive reports and technical documentation.
