Job Overview

TP-Link Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure to protect our systems, networks, and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and data encryption solutions.
  2. Conduct regular assessments to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and applications.
  3. Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis.
  4. Perform security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and regulatory requirements.
  5. Monitor security events and anomalies in real-time using SIEM tools and respond to security breaches in a timely manner.
  6. Conduct penetration testing and ethical hacking to evaluate the security posture of the organization.
  7. Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver security awareness training to employees.
  8. Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into DevOps pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and security frameworks.
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
