Cybersecurity Specialist

TP-Link Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure to protect our systems, networks, and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and data encryption solutions.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and applications.
- Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis.
- Perform security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor security events and anomalies in real-time using SIEM tools and respond to security breaches in a timely manner.
- Conduct penetration testing and ethical hacking to evaluate the security posture of the organization.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver security awareness training to employees.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into DevOps pipelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and security frameworks.
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
