Packaging Associate

The primary duty of a Production worker is to assemble finished products and the various pieces that go together to form finished products on a production line.

This may include filling, bottling, labeling, packaging, and lifting. This position reports directly to the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
Operates production machinery on a production line to ensure efficient production processes.
Identifies defective components to maintain product quality.
Able to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Work on the production line and ensure all products meet specifications.
Clean the production line as needed throughout the workday to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Fill out and maintain logs and all pertinent documentation involving production to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Abide by all safety protocols and be reactive to the work environment to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintains logs and records of units produced, including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded product.
Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance to prevent equipment failure.
Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area to promote a positive and productive work environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned to support the production team.

Requirements:
Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment.
Able to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision to meet production deadlines.
Excellent hand-eye coordination to operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
Must be vigilant to surroundings to maintain a safe work environment.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment to perform tasks efficiently.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs to move products and equipment as needed.
Adhere to cGMP/SOP's guidelines to maintain product quality and safety.
Reliable transportation to and from work to ensure timely attendance.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Must be able to use a dolly and strap materials down to prevent accidents and injuries.

Work Environment:
While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to various outdoor and indoor environments, including general office, industrial complexes, food processing plants, semiconductor labs, clean rooms, etc., some of which can be hazardous. Temperature variances, high noise levels, and dusty environments may be encountered.
