Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer - Protection and Control to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Power Delivery Services Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical protection and control systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement electrical protection and control systems for high voltage electrical utility substations
  • Develop and maintain schematics and wiring diagrams for protection and control systems
  • Collaborate with project managers and design engineers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Interface with clients and other staff to provide technical expertise and support
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control tasks to ensure compliance with industry standards
Requirements
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems or sustainable energy
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in high voltage electrical utility substation protection and control engineering
  • Strong knowledge of electrical protection and control systems, including NESC expertise
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
