  • Work Arrangement: 2 days remote, 3 days in-office
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Reports directly to the Controller
  • Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 based on experience
Key Responsibilities for the Cost Analysis Specialist:
  • Develop and manage the financial budget, analyze budget variances, and conduct quarterly updates
  • Create business intelligence reports and tools for key performance indicator (KPI) tracking
  • Assist the controller with monthly inventory assessments to ensure accurate costing
  • Provide management with insights on factors influencing pricing and profitability
  • Calculate cost rates for various activities and work centers
  • Analyze and report on profitability across different business segments, production facilities, and product/service offerings
  • Ensure the integrity of ERP data through thorough analysis and collaboration with inventory control and production
  • Support the development and documentation of policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Evaluate manufacturing operations, including equipment utilization and raw material usage
  • Conduct internal audits of bill of materials to verify product cost accuracy

Qualifications for the Cost Analysis Specialist:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in the manufacturing or agricultural sectors is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with large ERP systems is advantageous; experience with Acumatica is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
