Position Overview
Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Practical Nursing Specialist to take on the responsibility and accountability for implementing the nursing process and delivering quality patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). The Practical Nursing Specialist will consistently adhere to nursing standards and be accountable for managing patient care while assisting in the overall management of patient needs. This role provides services in alignment with Maxim's philosophy, standards, and policies.
Work Schedule
We are looking for professionals available Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. A pay rate of $30 to $32 per hour is offered. Flexibility to work four days a week is acceptable.

Key Responsibilities
The Practical Nursing Specialist will:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Conduct focused interviews to identify specific patient needs.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in patients' conditions.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members, documenting actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to the role of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in Pennsylvania.
- Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
- Successful completion of Maxim's Competency Program.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (offered by us if needed).
- Current BLS certification (CPR classes available).
- Fingerprinting and child abuse clearances (offered if needed).
