Apprentice Electrician

Advantage Electric Inc is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to support the maintenance, operation, and repair of electrical systems. The successful candidate will assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, and will be trained in advanced skills in pursuit of a Journeyman license.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the maintenance, operation, and repair of electrical systems
Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment
Perform tasks such as getting parts from the truck, handling tools, and working independently on electrical tasks
Assist in completing maintenance work orders on electrical equipment under the direction of a Journeyman or Master Electrician
Assist in filling installation work orders, and perform less complex installation tasks independently
Requirements:
No experience required, but applicant must be willing to do hard work and have one year of experience preferred
Ability to work well under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician following electrical code manuals
Eagerness to learn and comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English
Ability to frequently move electrical equipment and appliances, and lift, push, and/or pull up to 75 pounds
