Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Idaho Materials & Construction. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Identify and resolve technical issues with heavy equipment, vehicles, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Order and Manage Parts and Supplies: Procure and manage spare parts, tools, and other necessary materials to support equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other maintenance personnel, operators, and supervisors to ensure seamless equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment and minimize the risk of accidents.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment, vehicles, and mechanical systems, as well as experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
