Rescar Companies is seeking a skilled Railcar Mechanic to join our team in Pocatello, Idaho. As a Railcar Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing defective or worn components on railcar equipment. Your duties will include diagnosing malfunctions, inspecting bearings, seals, gaskets, wheels, and coupler assemblies, and testing and operating engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Requirements:
  • A good work ethic
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Previous mechanic experience desired
  • Familiarity with welding a plus
