About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Designer to join our Data, Integration and Analytics UX team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the AWS data and analytics experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver complex design programs, pipelines, and initiatives that drive business outcomes and strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve design problems, and drive the objectives and planning for your organization.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to delight Amazon customers with innovative ideas and designs that raise the bar across the industry.
  • Ensure strategies are executed in a scalable and extensive manner, with a material impact on the business.
About the Team

The DIA UX team covers most of the core services in the data and analytics space for AWS, with a team of 50+ designers and managers. You will have plenty of opportunity to learn, expand, and grow your career in areas such as data, AI, and analytics.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of design experience, with a strong background in User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.
  • Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data.
