About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you will serve as a departmental resource and liaison to physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other hospital personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise for the appropriate use of medications within the specialty of Antithrombosis Stewardship.
  • Work with Pharmacy Leadership to enhance pharmaceutical services throughout the Presbyterian Delivery System (PDS).
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • New Mexico Pharmacy license required.
  • Residency training or three years of pharmacist experience.
  • Specialty certification (or eligible for testing, with certification to be obtained within 24 months of hire).
