Sterile Compounding Pharmacist PRN

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Infusion Pharmacist to join our team at HIT Specialists Infusion Pharmacy, a leading provider of sterile compounding services in NW Albuquerque.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and delivery/equipment technicians.
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing, compounding, and delivery activities.
- Manage inventory levels, place orders, and log in new inventories.
- Check for expired/unusable products and dispose of them properly.
- Document all activities appropriately.
- Answer and initiate phone calls related to providing pharmaceutical care.
- Prepare delivery tickets.
- Assist the patient delivery representative in orders, receiving, maintaining, and tracking infusion-related equipment.
- Fulfill the duties of the patient delivery representative when required.
- Maximize the efficiency and productivity of the pharmacy and delivery operations.
- Strive to achieve cost-effectiveness in all areas, including purchasing/inventory control, staffing delivery services.
Requirements:
- PharmD and a current NM pharmacy license are required.
- Continuing education necessary to maintain current licensure in all states licensed.
- Minimum of one year sterile compounding experience preferred.
- Hospital pharmacy experience with a willingness to learn home infusion also acceptable.
- Leadership experience preferred; willingness to learn and positive attitude required.
Work Environment: Our pharmacy operates from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with shared nights/weekends on-call.
