Quality Review Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Review Associate to join our team at RTX. As a Quality Review Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Review and investigate quality notifications and make dispositions of parts or materials placed on quality review due to deviations from engineering specifications.
- Review and interpret applicable engineering detail and assembly drawings, engine manuals, clearance charts, engineering changes, and specifications to determine the severity of material deviations.
- Make dispositions of parts and materials based on evaluation of technical requirements and end use.
- Evaluate quality notifications and related documentation for accuracy and completeness from both internal and external sources.
- Provide controls for storage and control of nonconforming material.
- Develop and write rework and repair techniques that return parts to an acceptable condition.
- High school or GED
- 3+ years of experience working with quality methods and procedures in manufacturing or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 2+ years related experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Advanced shop mathematics for trigonometric and geometric computation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
