Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist at Steward Health Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. You will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce detailed images of the body's internal structures, which will be used by licensed practitioners to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media as needed to enhance image quality.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and provide emotional support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
  • Collaborate with licensed practitioners to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current licensure in Radiography from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
