Aerospace Quality Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Quality Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations, including AS9100.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and address quality issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality metrics and monitor performance.
  • Design and execute quality tests and inspections to validate product and process integrity.
  • Document and analyze quality data, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead and support corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality-related concerns.
  • Drive supplier quality management activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and facilitating supplier performance improvement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • TIER 1 or OEM experience.
  • Proven experience in quality engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address quality issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, including AS9100.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of statistical tools/software to interpret and act on manufacturing data.
  • Commitment to implementing and driving continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to convey quality-related information clearly.
