Nurse Practitioner

As a Nurse Practitioner at North Okaloosa Medical Center, you will be integral in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Med/Surg 2N
Qualifications:
- Valid FL RN license
- Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
- BLS & ACLS certifications through ARC or AHA
- 0-2 years of experience preferred but not mandatory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess assigned patients and develop, implement, and document nursing care plans
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice
- Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Utilize experience and judgment to strategize and achieve care objectives
