At Vaco, we are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Professional Services team. As the Head of Professional Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of ERP implementations to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with internal leaders to ensure seamless project handoffs and effective solution design.
- Communicate with product management and development teams to drive customer success and implementation enhancements.
- Develop and implement a methodology to deliver ERP solutions efficiently, minimizing implementation overhead for clients.
- Train and mentor consultants and partners on ERP implementations.
- Take ownership of customer requirements and challenges, ensuring their success with ERP technology.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions to understand clients' ERP needs and challenges.
- Provide guidance on implementation configurations, ensuring operational best practices.
- Develop relationships with clients through regular communication, workshops, and discussions.
- Lead customer testing and UAT sessions.
- Manage project risks and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 10+ years of hands-on ERP experience, including at least 7 years of full cycle ERP implementation experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
- Experience implementing ERP for customers with subscription and/or consumption models in the SaaS/Software industry.
- Experience working in both consulting and software companies is a plus.
- Creative problem-solving skills to apply new technology and challenge traditional views of ERP implementations.
- Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team.
- Located in the Bay Area.
