Orthopedic Surgeon

Mercy Health Defiance Orthopedics is seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct office visits and perform orthopedic procedures, including injections.
- Offer consultative services and participate in call coverage.
- Collaborate with LPNs, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Onsite radiology and laboratory services.
- Virtual health services, including telemedicine and consultations.
- Clinical staff support from LPNs and RNs.
- Ancillary services, including radiology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and social work.
- Established connections with primary care and specialty practices.
- Board certification required.
- Demonstrated experience in orthopedic procedures.
Defiance, OH is a small town with a population of 17,000 and a county population of 38,000. The community features five school systems and Defiance College. The area is known for its ease of travel via State Route 24.
