Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity

Mercy Health Defiance Orthopedics is seeking a skilled and board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of our outpatient practice, you will provide exceptional orthopedic care with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct office visits and perform orthopedic procedures, including injections.
  • Offer consultative services and participate in call coverage.
  • Perform shoulder, knee, and ankle surgeries, including robotic-assisted procedures.
  • Collaborate with LPNs, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Practice Support:
  • Support from LPNs and RNs.
  • Access to radiology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and social work.
  • Established connections with primary care and specialty practices.
Qualifications:
  • Board certification in orthopedic surgery.
  • Demonstrated experience in orthopedic procedures.

Defiance, OH is a small town with a population of 17,000 and a county population of 38,000. The area offers a mix of rural and urban amenities, with easy access to Toledo, Lima, and Fort Wayne, IN.
