Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by conducting routine tests and related duties.

• Conduct routine tests and related duties to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases
• Consult with and keep the manager informed of activities, needs, and problems
• Perform duties according to established standards and practices/procedures
• Follow strict principles of asepsis and antisepsis in performing duties
• Record, report, and post test results as required
• File, mail, fax, or phone reports to physicians ordering testing
• Process charges
• Perform phlebotomy on newborn, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients proficiently
• Be knowledgeable on appropriate reference ranges for male/female, newborn, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients
• Maintain established hospital and departmental policies and procedures

• MLT – 2-year certification
