Job Summary: We're looking for a seasoned engineering leader to join our team as a Sentinel Engineering Director. As a key member of our Strategic Deterrent Systems Division, you'll play a critical role in leading our Specialty Engineering organization within Sentinel Systems Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the implementation of specialty system engineering requirements and processes across program segments, ensuring consistency and implementation across teams.
  • Manage (CAM) of specialty engineering work scope, including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Coordinate specialty engineering topics across various integrated product teams (IPTs).
  • Lead internal and external stakeholder engagements, including engineering review boards, change control boards, customer sync meetings, and formal working groups.
  • Evaluate specialty engineering product quality and consistency for the Sentinel program.
  • Interface closely with product/program team leadership to implement systems engineering priorities for the team.
  • Ensure flow, decomposition, and satisfaction of specialty engineering requirements and design compliance according to Sentinel processes and governance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM with at least 10 years of progressive engineering experience, or Master's and 8 years' of experience.
  • 5 years of experience formally leading engineering teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance, investigation must have been completed within last 5 years.
  • Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems, including configuration management, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate and achieve consensus when dealing with groups from diverse organizations and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving results through managing people and management of internal processes and customer/supplier relationships.

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $181,000 - $271,600, based on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
