Position Overview:
This role at Kansas Action for Children is pivotal in overseeing maintenance operations and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing operational expenses while ensuring adherence to federal regulations.
  • Interpret and enforce organizational policies effectively.
  • Evaluate manpower requirements and provide recommendations accordingly.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports reflecting operational conditions.
  • Address and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring follow-up on all matters.
  • Collaborate with department heads to achieve production quality and labor standards.
  • Conduct inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security.
  • Supervise production supervisors and oversee all operations during designated shifts.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in the maintenance industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, ideally within a processing facility, along with knowledge of relevant regulations.

Skills:
  • Proficient in standard computer applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
  • Ability to manage and mentor team members effectively.
