Advanced Practice Provider for Adult Wellness

Penobscot Community Health Care is on the lookout for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a part of our Adult Wellness Center team. This role is structured as per diem, requiring a commitment of 1 shift per week, with flexibility in scheduling from Monday to Friday. The primary focus of this position will be on minor surgical interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various procedures, including but not limited to: excisions, biopsies, cryosurgery, treatment of warts, cysts, moles, skin cancers, rash biopsies, and electrodessication and curettage of cancers.
- Work within a state-of-the-art procedure room that has been recently renovated and is designed specifically for optimal functionality. This room is nearly double the size of standard procedure rooms and is fully equipped with modern storage solutions, lighting, and advanced medical equipment.
As a non-profit entity governed by a board of community volunteers, PCHC encompasses sixteen practices and program service sites in the Greater Bangor area. We provide a comprehensive array of services, including family medicine, dental care, pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health, substance abuse treatment, specialty services, pharmacy, and healthcare for the homeless. Our integrated medical home model is designed to ensure that everyone has access to quality, cost-effective healthcare.
