Job Title: Wound Ostomy Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Wound Ostomy Nurse to join our team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital. As a Wound Ostomy Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care to patients with ostomy, wound, and skin care needs.

Job Summary:

The Wound Ostomy Nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess, develop a nursing diagnosis, develop a plan of care with appropriate interventions, and evaluate the effects of the plan. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to make recommendations for care or provide direct care to patients with ostomy, wound, and skin care needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients with ostomy, wound, and skin care needs
  • Develop a nursing diagnosis and plan of care with appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to make recommendations for care or provide direct care to patients
  • Evaluate the effects of the plan and make adjustments as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Washington Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 2 years Clinical experience in an acute setting
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school with a Wound Ostomy and Continence Program
