About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aviation Planner to lead our aviation planning projects within our Aviation Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading airport planning and environmental studies, including Master Plan updates, Airport Layout Plan updates, and environmental planning projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead airport planning and environmental studies, including Master Plan updates and Airport Layout Plan updates
  • Coordinate with clients, FAA/MnDOT agencies, and the public
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or Airport Management, Civil Engineering, Land Use Planning, or Transportation Planning
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in airport planning and environmental studies
  • Experience with FAA Advisory Circulars 150/5070-6B Airport Master Plans and 150/5300-13B Airport Design
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
