About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team at Cumberland Valley Surgery Center, a leading multispecialty surgery center in Hagerstown, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate activities in the Anesthesia Department to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Provide medical management of patients undergoing surgery and other medical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, obtain and verify patient consent, and discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients.
  • Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia, monitoring their physiological condition and performing clinical interventions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards, maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns.

Requirements

  • MD/D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
  • ECFMC and FLEX certification.
  • Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
  • Current licensure as a physician.
