Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on the 5th Floor Surgical Unit at St. Mary's Health Care System. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify care plans under limited supervision.
• Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to your expertise as a Registered Nurse.
• Collaborate with the Care Team and Support Team to achieve patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
• Provide care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/technology, and other healthcare team members, according to established standards.
Requirements:
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing or found by the Board to be substantially equivalent to the programs in Georgia.
• Successful completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years.
• Prior experience in MedSurg is preferred, but new graduates are also considered.
