Tower Technician

Job Summary:
As a Tower Technician, you will be responsible for performing inspections, tower mappings, and post-construction inspections on telecommunications towers. You will also be required to travel up to five days a week and have a labor-intensive attitude, with the physical ability and willingness to climb towers, water tanks, or rooftops, and scan, probe, dig, and drill to obtain foundation dimensions and steel reinforcement on guyed, SST, and Monopole Towers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, tower mappings, and post-construction inspections on telecommunications towers.
- Travel up to five days a week.
- Climb towers, water tanks, or rooftops, and scan, probe, dig, and drill to obtain foundation dimensions and steel reinforcement on guyed, SST, and Monopole Towers.
- Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
- Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA, COMTRAIN, etc.).
Qualifications:
- One year general construction experience preferred but not required; some cell tower industry experience highly preferred.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results-oriented.
- Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
