Job Title: Production Process Lead

Job Summary:
The Production Process Lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the plant, ensuring safety and efficiency, and producing high-quality products that meet customer needs. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily production team and ensure the processing of orders and departmental work scheduling.
  • Cover other leads for vacation or time off and ensure all SOPs are in place.
  • Provide new and continuous training to operators, cooks, and back processing area staff.
  • Work with the team to produce all orders while maintaining or exceeding departmental KPIs and meeting customer and company specifications.
  • Ensure all quality specifications are followed and issues corrective actions on non-confirming product.
  • Effectively communicate company, plant, and department priorities across all levels.
  • Communicate any issues during shift, across all levels, as appropriate.
  • Verify, control, and ensure all production parameters are within planned budget.
  • Responsible for performing shift reports in a timely manner according to work instruction.
  • Hire, train, counsel, monitor work, assign work, discipline, and terminate employees.
  • Perform walkthroughs of production areas with leads, focusing on equipment performance, product quality, housekeeping, safety, and food safety.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 4ft high without the aid of another person.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for up to 8 hours in the performance of job duties.
  • Must be a team player with the ability to lead and effectively communicate.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-4 years' experience in manufacturing/production environment required.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in Food Manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must Read/Write and Speak in English.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
Nice to Have:
  • Conflict resolution, coaching, and development.
