Job Title: Route Relief Driver

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a highly motivated and sales-orientated individual to join our team as a Route Relief Driver. As a Route Relief Driver, you will be responsible for driving and providing services to customers on designated routes in your community.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a 26 bobtail truck to deliver laundry and/or uniforms to customers' places of business.
  • Collect or pick up rejected or unsold laundry and/or uniforms.
  • Load/unload truck.
  • Develop and maintain customer goodwill by providing assistance, demonstrating an interest in the customer, devoting time to the customer, and practicing courtesy towards the customer at all times.
  • Conduct business in a professional manner to minimize or eliminate customer complaints.
  • Handle complaints and questions in a professional manner, making sure that the supervisor is kept informed and able to assist, if necessary.
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints.
  • Maintain inventory and follow the company's policies on inventory control.
  • Collect money from customers, make a change, and record transactions on customer invoices.
  • Issue or obtain customer signature on invoices for pickup or delivery.
  • Record delivery and inventory information on daily invoices.
  • Clean inside of the truck. Perform routine maintenance on truck.
  • Attend training and service department meetings.
Requirements:
  • Must have sales and customer services experience.
  • Must have a clean driver's license.
  • Must be able to drive a 26 bobtail truck.
  • Must be comfortable loading/unloading your own truck with up to 50 LBS bags of linen daily.
  • Must pass the drug tests and clinic physical.
