Job Summary

As a Delivery Driver at PIRCH, you will be responsible for delivering appliances and plumbing products to customers' homes and/or other specified locations. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Document all pertinent information regarding daily delivery paperwork for accurate record keeping
  • Listen to and resolve delivery concerns in the field and escalate issues if beyond your skill set
  • Safely load and unload trucks
  • Obtain customer signature on packing slips for the receipt of goods with regard to pick-ups and deliveries
  • Communicate status of each stop to scheduling and routing advisor along with accounting for accurate billing process
  • Clean and maintain the interior of vehicle
  • Perform routine inspections on vehicle using vehicle inspection form and report any immediate safety concern to management
  • Assist in training of new Delivery Drivers

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Five-day work week will include weekends
  • Long hours of moving and lifting
  • Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid and current CA drivers license and a clean driving record
