Position Overview:

As a key member of our finance team, the Senior Tax Analyst plays a crucial role in managing the company's tax obligations. This position requires a hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum of three days per week at our headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive tax analysis and ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations.
  • Support the preparation and filing of various tax returns, including federal and state income and franchise taxes.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to gather necessary data for tax provisions and estimated payments.
  • Assist in the development of tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Document and analyze book-tax differences for accurate reporting.
  • Engage in research to substantiate tax positions and strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize technology to enhance productivity and streamline tax processes.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the tax department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Advanced degree in Taxation is a plus.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in corporate taxation.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent eligibility preferred.
  • Familiarity with tax research software and corporate tax applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
