Job Summary:

As a Clinical Therapist with Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult and child members who require crisis intervention. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring that each member receives comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mental Health Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough assessments to identify members' mental health needs, develop diagnoses, and create treatment plans.
  • Treatment and Intervention: Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to members, as well as crisis intervention services to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of members' treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and industry developments to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Education: PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience: Previous clinical experience in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and psychological testing.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to quality of service.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience: Crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and psychological testing.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership, commitment to quality of service, and ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner.
