Position: Youth Soccer Coaching Internship

AEG is inviting candidates to apply for the Youth Soccer Coaching Internship. This role involves supporting various facets of soccer training for youth players as directed by the Head Coach of the Academy. The internship provides valuable hands-on experience within a collaborative team-sport setting, allowing the candidate to gain insights into the operational dynamics of elite sports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of training sessions.
  • Gain knowledge of technical and tactical strategies relevant to youth soccer.
  • Engage with players to foster their development and understanding of the game.
Internship Benefits:
This internship is tailored for individuals pursuing a degree in sports-related fields who are eager to acquire experience in high-level soccer environments. Candidates should be flexible and possess a strong eagerness to learn and develop their coaching skills. Please note that this is an unpaid internship.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or a related field.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a career in youth soccer coaching.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
  • Availability during late afternoons and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of a United States Soccer Federation D License (or equivalent).
  • 1-2 years of coaching experience with youth players aged U13 and above.
