Job Description

The LPN - Clinic provides support to providers in delivering timely, quality patient health care services in a clinic environment. Some duties may include:

  • Collecting patient information and data
  • Providing patient care
  • Communicating with patients and care team members

Individuals in this role will work in an outpatient clinic setting, collaborating with providers and teams to improve and manage quality goals. The LPN will also perform tasks such as administering therapies, providing patient care pre/post encounter or procedure, and coordinating communication of medical information.

Responsibilities
  • Provides patient care support as delegated by Provider or RN
  • Administers therapies, including medications, scheduling follow-up visits, and prior authorization
  • Provides patient care pre/post encounter or procedure, preventative or other health information
  • Collaborates with Provider and team on improving and managing quality goals
Requirements
  • Associate's or Vocational degree from a Board of Nursing-approved LPN program
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training
Physical Demands

This role requires light work, with lifting up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently.
