We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at the M Health Fairview Bloomington Oxboro Dermatology Clinic. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
Perform delegated nursing and medical functions, including data collection and delivery of care to assigned patients.
Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician/authorized practitioner and in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
Adhere to all policies, procedures, and nursing practice guidelines.
Involve patients, families, and other health team members in gathering relevant data collected in the medical record.
Deliver care as delegated by the RN or physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population or individual patient.
Follow the patient's plan of care and prioritize work based on patient acuity, available resources, and patient/family preferences, in collaboration with the RN or physician/authorized practitioner.
Perform high and low-risk technical procedures, including medications, defined by the clinical setting.
Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team and demonstrate ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical Training or Associates Degree
One year previous healthcare and/or customer service experience
Current Minnesota LPN License
Current BLS certification
Preferred: One to three years of previous LPN experience and previous ambulatory care experience
