Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at The Children's Place in Coral Springs, Florida. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the Store Leadership Team to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers, including greeting and acknowledging them, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and effectively communicate the value and quality of our merchandise to customers.
  • Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns and demonstrate the appropriate level of selling skills to positively impact conversion.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cashwrap, while educating customers on the benefits of our loyalty program.
  • Ensure that all merchandise is properly stocked, displayed, and maintained in accordance with company standards.
  • Support and maintain a clean and organized stockroom, adhering to safety requirements and company standards.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
  • Guarantee company assets by adhering to all Loss Prevention procedures and reporting any maintenance or facility needs to the Store Leadership Team promptly.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Excellent customer engagement and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overnights, evenings, and call-in shifts.
  • Ability to maneuver on the sales floor and stockroom, climb ladders, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
