Responsibilities and Facility DetailsOphthalmology physicians at our hospital in New York are responsible for performing surgery one day a week. Our team includes great support staff, including (5) photographers, (3) OPTs, (1) NP, and (1) orthoptist per diem.
EMR and EquipmentWe use Med Flow in the clinic and Cerner at the hospital. Our equipment includes (2) OCT-Sirrus 5000, Fundus Camera, Optos FA/Fundus Camera, (2) Humphrey Visual Field, Goldman Visual Field, IOL master, Penticam, A&B Scan, (2) Auto Refractor, Heine, Patient Acuity Meter, YAG Laser, Argon Laser, (21) Slit Lamps, (2) Portable Indirect, Handheld Autorefractor, (4) Tronopen, Pachymeter, (2) Keratomotor-Manual, and (3) Lensometers-Automated/Manual.
Call ScheduleOur call schedule is (1): residents take first and second round call, and you are on third round call.
Qualifications and SkillsOphthalmology physicians at our hospital in New York should have excellent qualifications and skills, including experience in ophthalmology and a strong track record of success.
CommunityOur hospital is located in a beautiful community with great shopping, local wineries, beautiful beaches, fitness centers, restaurants, and outdoor recreation opportunities. We are minutes from many of the islands most beautiful beaches and have a local airport 20 minutes from the hospital, with several international airports within 1 hour.
