We are currently seeking a Critical Incident Coordinator to become a vital part of our IT team in a permanent capacity.

Role Overview:
Critical Incident Coordinator
Experience: 10 – 14 years of substantial experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary incident commander to facilitate urgent triage discussions towards resolution.
  • Maintain oversight on updates and communications directed to senior management.
  • Monitor the timeline for workarounds and resolution strategies being executed.
  • Document notes throughout the entire triage process.
  • Collaborate with necessary teams to investigate issues and drive them to resolution.
  • Exhibit strong communication capabilities and effectively engage with multiple senior leaders during discussions.
  • Be prepared to participate in triage discussions at any hour.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Critical Incident Coordinator role.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and proficiency in Service Now.
  • Familiarity with the technical landscape and relevant terminologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to recognize urgency and the implications of issues, escalating as necessary.

Work Authorization:
Cognizant will only consider candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
