About the Role:

CPS, Inc. (Food & Beverage Division) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Research and Development Engineer to lead our commercialization efforts and drive process development in our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the production scale-up of new and reformulated products and processes from laboratory/bench/pilot scale into full production.
  • Collaborate with R&D Scientists and Technologists during product development to identify effective unit operations and create process flows that translate benchtop products to full production.
  • Continually identify and implement improvements to processes and technologies to optimize efficiency, cost savings, and gains in capability, reliability, and safety.
  • Manage complexity, handle multiple priorities, and prioritize accordingly to meet business objectives.
  • Travel as needed to collaborate with external partners and vendors.

Requirements:

  • More than 8 years of experience in food processing and commercialization in the food industry, with experience in continuous improvement principles and utilization in statistical analysis and SPC.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Food/Process/Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical) or related field.
  • Frozen food manufacturing experience is a plus.
