Electrical Installation Specialist

Job Summary
The role of the KES Technician is to perform full installations of our Demand Control Kitchen Ventilation system (DCKV) in commercial kitchens. This involves installing various sensors directly to the kitchen hoods, installing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to modulate the associated exhaust fans, and installing and wiring new fan motors and exhaust fans as needed.
The KES Technician will program and commission the DCKV system and train the customer on functionality and usage. Essential duties and responsibilities include installing all aspects of the DCKV system, maintaining proper job site etiquette, following OSHA safety guidelines, and meeting project-specific deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Install sensors, VFDs, and other equipment in commercial kitchens
- Program and commission the DCKV system
- Train customers on system functionality and usage
- Maintain job site etiquette and follow OSHA safety guidelines
- Meet project-specific deadlines
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent driving record
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Basic computer/laptop skills
- Knowledge and experience with general construction and electrical work
- Ability to travel
Physical Requirements
- Average lift capability of approximately 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights
- Ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) throughout the workday
