About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Morning Lifeguard to join our team at Premier Aquatics Services LLC. As a Morning Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons and maintaining a clean and well-maintained aquatic facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Swimming Activities: Monitor swimming activities at the aquatic facility and ensure that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
  • Enforce Pool Regulations: Advise swimmers of improper activities or dangers and enforce pool regulations and water safety policies.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Respond to emergency situations and administer first-aid when necessary.
  • Work Independently: Ability to work independently and maintain focus at a high level for extended periods of time.
  • Evaluate Conditions: Evaluate conditions for safety and activate emergency action plan if necessary.
  • Complete Daily Procedures: Complete daily opening/closing procedure checklists and inspect pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.
  • Assist with Pool Chemical Tests: Assist with pool chemical tests and record results accordingly.
  • Communicate Effectively: Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, co-workers, and management.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 15 years of age and be able to obtain a work permit if under the age of 18.
  • Availability: Be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week and have weekend and holiday availability.
  • Reliability: Reliability and commitment to scheduled shifts.
  • Enthusiasm: Candidate must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and have a willingness to interact with the public.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation.
  • Certification: Be able to obtain and maintain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification.
  • Swimming Proficiency: Swimming proficiency and feels comfortable in the water.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Lifeguard Experience: Have prior lifeguard experience.
  • StarGuard Elite Certification: StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification.
  • Availability: Be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week and have 1 day of weekend availability.
