Position Title: Research Financial Coordinator

Overview: The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and execute the financial aspects of awarded sponsor contracts for various clinical trials, ensuring accurate reconciliation of all financial activities associated with the studies conducted by the Research Program.

Collaboration: This position requires close collaboration with the Accounting and Finance Departments to facilitate the processing, accounting, and financial reporting for research initiatives.

Point of Contact: The individual will act as the main resource for post-award financial administration, addressing issues related to clinical research projects and services.

Support Role: This role will provide essential support to research administration, investigators, and project teams by offering updates on research project accounts, overseeing the sponsor invoicing process, and managing the close-out and reconciliation of research projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with experience in business or healthcare administration, or as a Research Coordinator or Clinical Research Associate with financial responsibilities.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting involving clinical trials.
  • Strong proficiency in general ledger accounting practices, cost analysis, and accounting principles.

Employment Type: This is a permanent position.

Work Environment: This role is fully on-site within the research department, operating during standard business hours.
