Life Enrichment Manager

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Life Enrichment Manager to join our team. As a Life Enrichment Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, fostering a sense of community and purpose.
Responsibilities- Evaluate resident interests and involvement in life skills programs
- Develop personalized life skills tailored to each resident's unique needs and abilities
- Engage residents in life skills activities throughout the day and evening
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of life skills programming supplies
- As applicable, assist residents with daily care of animals and/or plants as part of the life skills program
- One year of experience working with memory-impaired seniors
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification(s) may be required per state regulations
- Ability to motivate and encourage residents, knowledge of adapting life skills to cognitive and functional abilities
- Ability to inspire and motivate volunteers and fellow team members to engage residents in meaningful activities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Competent in organizational and time management skills, demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to make responsible choices, decisions, and act in a resident's best interest
- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision, following community procedures and guidelines
- Basic proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new applications
